ALPINE RACING

Dave Murray, an Olympian and World Cup competitor, saw the benefits in utilizing World Cup, Olympic and National level coaches when he worked in the camp as a coach himself. Dave passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. 

Today we continue the camp tradition by selecting coaching staff whose racing credentials include World Cup, Olympic and National team experience. Matt Roth, Head Coach of the Snow Summit Race Team in Big Bear Lake California, is our head coach. He brings together other top Canadian Certified coaches to offer an exciting training program for our alpine ski racers. Matt is a top CSCF Level 3 and CSIA Level 3 certified coach and is currently training for National Coaching Institute (NCI) Level 4. Our ski racing coach alumni includes Matt Kerr National Team Coach and Jason Carpenter.

Our coaches are hand-picked for not only their skiing ability but also their genuine passion for teaching and sharing their stoke for the sport.
