Adult Ski and Snowboard Camps
We have adults participating in all our sessions but we have also designated some of our camps as "Adult Designated Sessions". These camps still have junior campers but we make an extra effort to look after our adult campers and help adults who would like to meet other adult snowboarders. Please see our date and pricing info for more details. Adults love our camp. Our camp is structured so that you can participate in what you want when you want. The coaches are on standby for you and our flexible coaching system means that you do not have to ride with our younger camper or older campers if you do not want to. You can ride with who you want and choose your coach. We have lots of activities scheduled during the day and you can choose the ones you like or decide not to do any. This is up to you. The older campers seem to like our activities and summer sports even more than the younger campers.

Whistler for Adults
Whistler is a world class adult destination with lots of adult activities and entertainment. The restaurants are high end and offer a international variety of foods.

Transport
The adults can also choose a shuttle upgrade for arrival and departure days that will reduce the wait time at the airport. The upgrade will schedule a more convenient bus from the airport to Whistler or from the hotel to Vancouver. Please see our sign up form to order.

Evening Activities
The adults are welcome to participate in all our regularly scheduled activities, sports, and meals. As an extra for those adults that want to experience the night side of Whistler, each night will feature an optional excursion with our staff to one of Whistler's international restaurants (not included in camp cost), followed by a trip to one of Whistler's famous evening entertainment locations. My Dave Murray Ski Camp Experience
K Voyer - In words not pictures. Skiing in the summer should be maximized without distraction. To recount my experience of the Dave Murray Ski Camp I graciously received through Dave Murray Ski Camps, Newschoolers.com and Whistler Blackcomb is to talk of an experience very different from traditional experiences of Dave Murray and the other glacier camps operating throughout the summer. I was enrolled as an adult, meaning many of my experiences involve things that should remain out of the public eye. However, all my experiences, unmentionable or recounted here, were decidedly positive. What's not to love about skiing in the summer followed by stumbling through screen doors that evening?

The Dave Murray camp is different from the glacier-dominating larger camps in that its park design is more suited toward intermediate riders. This is an excellent design decision as many intermediate riders would rather ride a forgiving three pack of 15-20 foot hits than the much larger hits offered by some other camps. As I rode the T-Bar, talking with riders in the COC, many positively mentioned this aspect to Dave Murray.Coaching at Dave Murray was strong, not only in the ability of coaches to discuss proper trick technique with riders, but also in its ability to form friendships - if but for the short period of a week. I found myself hanging out with coaches on the hill as much as off the hill, not as a camper, but as a peer. Only friends are able to watch the “Age of Love” while cheering on the room's favourite contestant, “Megan, 21, Student.”Friends at Dave Murray also came with the arrival of my roommates, who quickly informed the camp of their proper names – BK and T-NASTY. These are the sorts of friends that truly made my ski camp experience memorable. This applies to all glacier camps, for without the relaxed environment that friendly roommates provide, no camp can be fully enjoyed.

BK and T-Nasty brought about this relaxed environment through their approach to life that I can only explain as a combination of Bluto Blutarsky from Animal House and Cheech Marin. The overall impression my mind held following the Dave Murray camp was overwhelmingly positive – memories of sun, skiing and friends. The summer isn't designed for skiing, but Dave Murray made me believe otherwise, for isn't skiing just what my memories describe? Skiing to me is the sun, my skis on snow, and my friends spinning down the mountain with me.
