CAMPER LETTERS:

Letter from C. Atterbury - WA, USA

Dear Staff
I wanted to take a few moments to say 'THANX' for the
1. OUTSTANDING,
2. TERRIFIC,
3. AWESOME,
4. and other similar adjectives too numerous to mention - all of which describe my sons experience with DMSSC during the week of June 15 thru June 22, 2001.
He had a great time. He talked his Mom's ear off during the drive down to Seattle (including a 45 minute wait for customs at Blaine). He was too tired after supper to go swimming with the rest of the family, so I stayed home with him - he lay down in bed around 7:15pm, but then proceeded to talk to me for the next hour and forty minutes about his experiences at DMSSC.
He described, in detail, every skiing maneuver he learned --- you have to understand that my ultimate skiing experience (as a geezer who has been a pilot for 40 years and who is overly cautious about keeping his body in one piece) is to make it down a 'blue square' run without falling!!! Anyway, I learned a lot, don't understand most of it, but I was absolutely overwhelmed with the enthusiasm and excitement that Joey continuously displayed throughout his discussion. He had a great time with and learned a lot from Rex.
Joey used some self-restraint in not doing some skiing 'things' because of his upcoming bike trip, and most important of all (at least from a parent's point of view) said 'thank you Dad' FOUR times during our bed side chat - Not once or twice, but FOUR times with a 'thank you for sending me to DMSSC.'
WOW!!! I think he really had a great time and I had to let you know.
Again, THANK YOU - Joey had a super time and wants to return next year, so put him on the list!
